Your data, your business
Privacy Policy.
The short version: the tools run in your browser, there’s no account, and we don’t sell your data.
Last updated: 27 October 2026
The principle
CheckPasscode is built to be useful without knowing who you are. You don’t create an account, and the password and PIN tools generate and score secrets right in your browser. We don’t want your passwords and we don’t build a profile of you.
What we collect
- No account data. There is no sign-up, so we hold no name, email, or login for you.
- Limited technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard request information (such as a truncated IP address and browser type) to keep the service running and protect it from abuse.
- Privacy-respecting analytics. We may use aggregate, anonymised usage counts (for example, how many people opened a page) to improve the tools. These are not tied to an individual.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell, rent, or trade your data.
- We don’t show third-party ads or embed advertising trackers.
- We don’t require you to sign in to use any tool.
Cookies
The site uses only the storage it needs to work (for example, remembering a preference on your device). We don’t set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
CheckPasscode is a general-audience security tool and isn’t directed at children under 13.
