Using CheckPasscode
CheckPasscode provides free, in-browser tools to generate and assess passwords and PINs. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
Your responsibility
You’re responsible for safely storing any password or PIN you create — ideally in a reputable password manager. We can’t recover a secret for you, because we never hold it.
No warranty
The tools are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Strength estimates and breach-exposure indicators are informational guides, not guarantees — no password is unbreakable, and no check can prove a password is safe.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CheckPasscode is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, including account compromises. Use good security practices: unique passwords everywhere and two-factor authentication where available.
Acceptable use
Don’t attempt to disrupt, overload, or misuse the service, and don’t use it for unlawful purposes.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always the one posted here, dated above.
